High tea at the “city of lights”, Nuwara Eliya, Hill country in Sri Lanka!!

Jetwing St. Andrews boasts a unique English high tea with a luxury service!! The Last time we went to Nuwara eliaya, we tried out this experience after skipping our lunch. They serve it everyday after 2.30pm and is priced at LKR1200(net) per person, but you can also share the platter with more people. The platter was a 3 tier platter and came with 4 savory items and 7 sweet items per platter.

You can select either tea or coffee as drinks.

Since we were hungry at that time, due to skipping lunch their savory items did not fill us up

The Mini chicken burger, was freshly made and came with a small chicken slice, a thin slice of tomato and onion.

The Cheese sandwich: had cheese, tomato, onion and more healthy ingredients like fresh vegetables with a crunchy texture from the pan toasted bun.

Cheese ball: Chicken deep fried cutlet stuffed with a cheesy centre. The best out of all, would be well loved by kids and adults both equally was the best out of all.

Their sweet section was something different with other places, Chocolate cookie, cashew and chocolate treats to fulfil the nutty cravings in you.

Kisses: this tasted a lot like the store bought basic kisses.

Eclairs little bit hard than what we normally eat, but had cashews in it and the flavor of chocolate was divine.

They also serve two types of cookies in there, Normal butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies with a generous amount of chocolate chips.

Cake slice: a triangular cake, butter cake & chocolate cake with butter cream frosting

Lastly the tea was worth it with a five star service well professionally served for any one to enjoy

Tip : they have outside arrangement but due to the rainy weather that day we had to have it indoors
