Looking for a decent pub with good food at an affordable price?

Well then Butler’s Colombo, your neighbourhood pub is the place for you.

What I specially liked here was their tropical vibe indoors, with lots of creepers, ferns and tropical flower arts but yet they have taken necessary measures to preserve the friendly pub feeling indoors.

Lunch time : 10am to 2.30pm
Dinner : 5.30pm to 11pm

When we checked it out for lunch one fine day and here is what we two gobbled down :

Drinks :
Hot chocolate - Cadbury(480LKR)
A yummy chocolatey goodness with a decent creaminess and well sweetened.

Cappuccino (400LKR)
I miss the art on this but well it was alright as they just opened up that day for lunch.

Starters :
Chicks with pigs (880LKR)
- yummy kochchi chicken sausages together with crispy pork sheet
My absolute favourite that day, just wow!
I was truly craving for that extra kochchi punch for a long time and butlers fulfilled it well.
The portion size was huge for the price.

Pan tossed calamari (1290LKR)
Pasindu’s favourite!!
It was sweet and crispy with lots of calamari.
Since this place is a pub to be they really nail the starters job to the point.

Mains :
Crispy chicken burger (1050LKR)
Boneless leg & thigh crispy fried with a homemade sauce.
Well this burger had cheese and a few veges inside but yet it will have a place in my heart because the chicken meat was fresh and juicy served with a side of thick fries as I always like.

Steak (2840LKR)
An Australian sirloin cooked to your preference served with roasted baby potatoes/sweet potato mash and baby corn.
Absolutel divine!
Pasindu says it was one of the best he has had in a while.

The service here at Butler’s was super friendly and quick!
We got our order within 30 minutes and everything was fresh.
Although it was crowded for lunch that day the staff made sure that everyone got treated the same way.
Also they will be having a new menu with innovative desserts like alcohol ice-cream so stay tuned with us for more reviews on it.
